Admission Requirements
HTIC International Application
Includes Admissions Essay (essay prompt is included in the application), Copy of Passport, and non-refundable U.S. $100 Application Fee.
Transcripts
Submit a copy of your most current high school transcripts and transcripts from all schools attended after graduating. Transcripts from U.S. schools must be sent directly from the issuing school(s) to the HTIC Office of Admissions. Applicants may submit official English transcript(s) from overseas schools together with other required documents. If transcripts are unavailable, applicants must submit a certificate demonstrating completion of high school level education. 2.5 GPA is required for both freshman and transfer admission into the Liberal Arts Program.
English Language Proficiency Score Reports
If you have taken TOEFL, IELTS, EIKEN, or any other English Language Proficiency test, please submit a copy of your score report. TOEFL Score of 61 iBT or 500 PBT, IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, or an EIKEN Grade Pre-1 certificate or higher is required to be considered for admission into the Liberal Arts Program. For admission into the College Preparatory Program, submission of a TOEFL score, IELTS score, or an EIKEN certificate is recommended but not required. HTIC’s TOEFL college code is 9831.
Financial Support Statement
Submit a current bank statement from your sponsor showing an available balance of at least U.S. $28,860.
Housing Application
International students are required to live in the on-campus housing for the first two terms. Includes a non-refundable U.S. $20 Application Fee.
